REJUVENATION & SPECIAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS
Salinas Adult School offers courses for students recovering from stroke and other health and
well-being concerns with aging through its R.E.A.P (Rejuvenation Education Assistance Program).
Through the Disabled Students and Adults Program, students with disabilities are provided with enrichment,
life skills and job skills training.

R.E.A.P COURSES and SERVICES
Supporting wellness and health despite disability
Adults with physical disabilities learn and practice the basic skills needed to
maintain or improve their level of independence. Group and individual exercise are
offered as well as mobility and strength training, health education, gardening, crafts
and cognitive skills training. Activities take place in a socially stimulating and
supportive environment.

ENROLLMENT FEE: $40.00 per year
Students may wish to enroll in other classes offered by
the CREATIVE LIVING PROGRAM at the Salinas Adult School site throughout the year, including:
Computer
Quilting
Watercolor
Knitting
FUN and FIT at Alliance on Aging Luncheon, St. Ansgars
Tuesdays, 10:30am to 1:00pm
FRESH LUNCH
A nutritious meal for seniors is served at the site Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 12 noon. Reservations required.
Suggested lunch donation: $2.25 for seniors 60 and over All others: $3.00
Participants can also bring their own sack lunch.
