Mission Statement: "The Adult Program is committed to excellence by meeting the needs of older learners in a safe, caring environment while providing opportunities for lifelong learning, encouraging community involvement and fostering personal warmth and dignity." The Creative Living Program was awarded the distinction of "Outstanding Educational Site of the Year 1999" by the Monterey County SELPA Community Advisory Committee Classes, workshops and events are available year-round and are open to adults of all ages, with priority registration for those over 50 years old. Course and workshop registration fees vary and are posted with the course information. Students provide their own class materials or pay supplies fee where indicated in the course listings in the catalog and on this site. Adults With Disabilities The Disabled Adult Program is dedicated to recognizing and addressing student differences while providing quality skills training and promoting self-esteem, responsibility, life-enrichment and productivity in a challenging world. REAP —Rejuvenation Education Assistance Program—is offered FREE and serves to assist students disabled by acute or chronic physical challenges become more capable and independent. Active older adults enjoy course offerings in computer use, fine arts, digital art and photography, quilting as well as fitness and dance. Bus Tours and Nights On the Town offerings vary by quarter.
